Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • The article text must be formated accordingly to the instructions presented in the templates: 
    LaTeX template,
    MS WORD template

    References with the IEEE style and DOI hyperlinks.

  • In SUBMISSION step MUST BE UPLOAD:
    1. LICENCE TO PUBLISH
    2. Review version in pdf (without authors' names and affiliations) - this file will be used for double-blind review.
    3. Original version in pdf ( with authors' names and affiliations).
    4. Editable version of article text:
    - Source text LaTeX package in zip (all needed files),
    or
    - Source text MS Word in docx.

  • The length of the manuscript is a minimum of six and a maximum of ten pages.

  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

  • IMPORTANT! All co-authors data (full names, e-mails, and affiliations) should be provided to the electronic submission system in the same order they will be listed on the publication. It should be done in the second step of the submission "Step 2. Entering the Submission's Metadata".  Papers submitted without contact information for all co-authors could be automatically rejected!
  • Publication costs/APC

    As of 2017, authors are enabled to pay page charges, which cover the cost of the publishing process and will be invoiced upon paper acceptance. Note that we charge for papers of the required length (6-8 pages) and additionally apply excess page charges (8+ pages).

    The current fee per page is:
    - the article is 6-8 pages - 100 PLN per page,
    - for 8+ pages - 150 PLN per page.

    When and how do I pay?

    Attention to the fact that we do not accept fees before the article is accepted and without inclusion in publishing plans.
    After the editorial approval of the article, the authors will receive confirmation of acceptance for publication and all details regarding the fee, including its amount and payment deadline.

    We do not accept payment from PayPal. Authors pay directly by bank transfers or use https://wise.com/.
    The paying person sends the bank transfer confirmation after payment. Our office sends the invoice via email once the payment has been received on our account.

Author Guidelines

IMPORTANT!

Before starting the submission, please prepare the contact information of all co-authors (full names, e-mails, affiliations, and country). Contact information for all authors should be provided during the submission process in "Step 2. Entering the Submission's Metadata". Papers submitted without full contact information for all co-authors could be automatically rejected!

The publication requirement is to prepare at least six pages, including references, and at most ten pages. The references should have at most 30 items, and the description should follow the IEEE style and include doi identifiers and hyperlinks.
Only papers that meet this requirement will be accepted before the review stage.

TEMPLATES

We accept only the article prepared in IJET TEMPLATES: 

 LaTeX template new     or    MS Word template new

We recommend using LaTeX to prepare your camera-ready manuscript, together with the corresponding class file. We do not encourage using Microsoft Word, particularly as the layout of the pages (the position of figures and paragraphs or fonts) can change between printouts.

LICENCE

To complete submission, all publication authors must also submit a completed license.

All uploaded papers are checked with Plagiarism Detection Software before they are reviewed and published.

Complete contact information for ALL AUTHORS (name, email, affiliation, country).
Attention: authors' order and their names should be the same as in the article.

1. License

The non-commercial use of the article will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution license as currently displayed on https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/,
except that sections 2 through 8 below will apply in this respect and prevail over all conflicting provisions of such license model. 

2. Author’s Warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, written by stated author/s, has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author/s. The undersigned also warrants that the manuscript (or its essential substance) has not been published other than as an abstract or doctorate thesis and has not been submitted for consideration elsewhere, for print, electronic or digital publication.

3. User Rights

Under the Creative Commons Attribution license, the author(s) and users are free to share (copy, distribute and transmit the contribution) under the following conditions: 1. they must attribute the contribution in the manner specified by the author or licensor, 2. they may alter, transform, or build upon this work, 3. they may use this contribution for commercial purposes.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain the following rights:

- copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,

- the right to use the substance of the article in own future works, including lectures and books,

- the right to reproduce the article for own purposes, provided the copies are not offered for sale,

- the right to self-archive the article

- the right to supervision over the integrity of the content of the work and its fair use.

5. Co-Authorship

If the article was prepared jointly with other authors, the signatory of this form warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

6. Termination

This agreement can be terminated by the author or the Journal Owner upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of the Journal Owner. The author and the Journal Owner may agree to terminate this agreement at any time. This agreement or any license granted in it cannot be terminated otherwise than in accordance with this section 6. This License shall remain in effect throughout the term of copyright in the Work and may not be revoked without the express written consent of both parties.

7. Royalties

This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by the Journal Owner or its sublicensee.

8. Miscellaneous

The Journal Owner will publish the article (or have it published) in the Journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and the Journal Owner or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. Where such obligation depends on the payment of a fee, it shall not be deemed to exist until such time as that fee is paid. The Journal Owner may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization and usage that it deems appropriate. The Journal Owner will be allowed to sublicense the rights that are licensed to it under this agreement. This agreement will be governed by the laws of Poland.

By signing this License, Author(s) warrant(s) that they have the full power to enter into this agreement. This License shall remain in effect throughout the term of copyright in the Work and may not be revoked without the express written consent of both parties.

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
